Our history

A truly extraordinary priest, never forgotten!

This is where the story of the “Casa sul Lago” (initially it was called “Casa del Fanciullo”) starts, when Don Giuseppe Aureli begins his work of welcoming anyone… even the “least”.

We have collected some historical texts and photographs that we want to bring to you on this page, testifying to a work that starts from afar and which always inspires us for the future.

Our mission is to welcome everyone and in our daily activity we are still inspired today by the deeds of Don Giuseppe.
